Generate (Advanced)

You can view the advanced features available for the Excel source file under Project Actions > Generate page. Select the Excel source file (xlsx) to see a pop-up appear with the checkbox Generate with Rich Text and Document Password options on the right side of the page as shown below.

Text Format

Select the Generate with Rich Text checkbox to generate the file in full rich text format, including different fonts, text sizes, colors, hyperlinks, bullet points, highlighted keywords, etc. Uncheck the checkbox if you want to generate the file in plain text.

Document Password

When you select an Excel source file (which is already password protected) to generate answers in it, the system displays a pop-up to enter the original password on the Document Password field. If you click the Generate button without entering the password, the system will restrict and notify you with an error message. To avoid that, you should first enter the password here and then proceed.

Password For Encryption

This is an option to protect the file with a new password (which is optional). You can provide a password to lock or protect your file from unauthorized users, so only those who know the password (authorized users) can read or access the generated file. You can only open the generated file if you have the provided password. If you do not want to encrypt the file, leave the respective field empty.

Presently, this password protection feature is available only for Excel files (xlsx).

Answer Alignment

You can decide how the answer text in the cell should be aligned on the Excel file with the alignment buttons. There are three ways to align your text - Top, Center, and Bottom Align.
