Loopio for Salesforce Config Setting

You can use the Loopio for Salesforce Config Setting custom setting to enable and disable LFS Triggers and some other features.

You can configure the setting for the user, profile, or organization level as per your business needs. The application takes the preceding in the following order:

  1. User Level Setting

  2. Profile Level Setting

  3. Organization Level Setting

For example, if you have configured custom settings at both the User and Organization levels, the application will first consider the User Level setting before checking the Organization Level setting for any settings that have not been configured at the User Level.

To configure the Organization Level config setting

  1. Go to Setup > Search and select Custom Settings.

  2. Click Manage action for the Loopio for Salesforce Config Setting.

  3. Click the New button for the first time configuration or click the Edit button if you want to update the already configured setting.

  4. Select or enter the value for the following config settings as per your business needs and click the Save button.

Disable Project Question Trigger

Check this checkbox to disable the LFS package triggers that are available on the Project Question object.

This setting will not disable any custom triggers built on this object.

This setting will help you when you are doing some mass update, data migration from one org to another org, data corrections, etc.

Disable Project Trigger

Check this checkbox to disable the Project object trigger.

This setting will help you when you are doing some mass update, data migration from one org to another org, data corrections, etc.

Disable Response Trigger

Check this checkbox to disable the Response object trigger.

This setting will help you when you are doing some mass update, data migration from one org to another org, data corrections, etc.

Disable Library Search Activity Logging

Check this checkbox to disable the activity tracking and logging in the User Activities object for the Library Search feature.

Activity logging is mostly used to generate reports.

Enable Sub Category Selection

Check this checkbox to enable the Sub Category section option while configuring the Word document.

Hide Library Search Sidebar

Check this box to have the sidebar filter collapse by default on the Library Search page.

For example, When a user logs in for the first time, the system will consider the value as per this checkbox and display it in the Library Search page. If this checkbox is checked, the system will collapse the sidebar. If the checkbox is unchecked, the system will display the sidebar on the Library Search page.

Library Search Result To Show

How many results to be displayed on the Library Search screen.

For example, if you enter 100 in this setting, and a user searches for a response from the Library Search screen, the total 100 results are displayed as part of the search result.

Disable Project Question Validation

Check this checkbox to disable the Project Question level validation.

For example, if you have checked this checkbox and any of the users try to update any record and you are not authorized or do not have access to perform those actions from Tables view, using APIs, or any other way, then the application will not check any server side validation and allow you to perform any of those actions.

This setting will help you when you are doing some mass update, data migration from one org to another org, data corrections, etc.

Disable UserDictionary Trigger

Check this checkbox to disable the User Dictionary object trigger.

This setting will help you when you are doing some mass update, data migration from one org to another org, data corrections, etc.
