Alternative Answers
While working with complex RFP and responses, it's possible that the same response can be used for similar RFP questions asked in different ways, based on context, response length, response with specific information & other parameters. So it is very important to have the ability to store these alternative answers under the same responses and label them so that while responding to RFP, we know which answer can fit best based on the parameters mentioned above. Avino now supports the alternative answers. You can have one or more alternative answers under response and you can label them with “Title“. Alternative answers are not indexed by AI so Q&A pair will be searched in the same manner as it is currently. Ability to include alternative answers in search is in roadmap and will be available in future.
Advanced Field History Tracking for Long Text Area and Rich Text Area Fields
There is a limitation on the Salesforce Platform where using Field History we can track if Long Text Area or Rich Text Area fields are changed or not but we can not see what has been changed like what was the previous value and new value. In some of the use cases like working on a project question’s answer or response’s answer, where multiple people are collaborating, it is very important to see who made what changes. This feature will help you to track those changes even for text area fields.
How to enable this feature?
This is already enabled on Avnio Response Object. In order to enable other objects, it requires a small step on the customisation side. Once it is enabled, it can be turned on & off using Custom Metadata Types “Advanced Field History Settings“
Once it is enabled, you need to add this “Advanced Field Histories“ - related list to the page layout in order to see it on a particular record.

Data Storage Considerations
As Long Text area and Rich Text area field length support maximum 131,072 characters (128 KB), Field Tracking stores Old Value & New Value for history tracking, It is going to occupy more storage so consider this before enabling this feature for any field of the object.
Change Score Threshold from Retrieve Answer screen
Added an option on the Retrieve answer screen to change the Score Threshold before retrieving the answers. There is a slider on the retrieve answer screen to update the score threshold value. The system will also show help text to the end user about the score threshold.
Based on how responses in your library are managed, sometimes it is essential to choose confidence level by which you would like Avnio to auto respond to questions. If any RFP / Questions is more close to offering & system is trained properly then you can select higher confidence score otherwise you can go with lower once.
If the retrieve answer action is performed from project actions, the score threshold value will be updated on the project record. If the Retrieve answer action is performed from Table actions system will not update the project record with an updated score threshold value.

Category and Tag filters on Library Search/View Question/Library Sync
Added an option to apply a filter based on categories and tags on the Library Search/View Questions Page/Library Sync page. User can also apply AND/OR condition between categories and tags while using filters.
Ability to View Simple Question or Rich Text Question on the View Question page
Added an option on the view questions page to display questions in Rich Text format or normal text format. Users can change the format from the top bar of the view questions page.

Default text format can be handled using org level custom setting “Disable RichText Mode“ in RFX Project Configuration.
If Disable RichText Mode is checked, the Question will be displayed in normal text format.
If Disable RichText Mode is unchecked, the Question will be displayed in Rich text format.
Ability to display only Categories and Tags of Response User has access to
Currently in Library Search, Response Library and Retrieve Answer UI, all the categories and tags in the system are displayed. This was showing too many values that are not useful for the user. We have limited the categories and tags in this UI. Now, it will display only the categories and tags that are associated with the Responses that the user has access to.
What’s Fixed
Ability to turn off the prompts (pop-ups) on View Questions, Excel & Word import which is appearing many times due to third-party caching tools.
