Known Issues and Limitations

  • Only 100 categories will be shown on Retrieve Answers.

  • To copy-paste the image into the Editor, copy the image along with the text around it.

  • New Excel Import

    • Add Compliance does not support a picklist with dynamic or reference data validations. It only supports a static List of data validations.

    • Auto-select compares some specific cell formatting to auto-select cells. So it might be possible that due to missing a single format would not select that cell in auto-select.

    • Compliances are limited to create and edit. As of now, it is not possible to delete compliance.

    • You might notice some of the cells/fonts background colour is not in sync with the actual excel document. You don’t need to worry. It is because of technical limitations. The final document which is going to be generated will look similar to the original document.

  • Reconfigure and Replicate mapping in Excel

    • Replicate mapping works based on cell formatting of headers & question, answer etc. so it might possible that the cell visually looks similar but have a bit different formatting then replicate mapping will not work as expected.

    • Replication will work based on the header(tabular format) based data. So it will not work for the cascade category, a subcategory which falls outside of the tabular structure.

  • While switching questions, users might notice slight delays in opening questions or loading suggestions in the library. This delay is very short and will not be noticeable. We will be working on this action so that our customers have a better experience.

  • While saving questions, the system will prevent the user to do any changes like

    • Switching to the different questions

    • Using library search, chatter and activity tabs

    • Search & Filtering 

We will work on this action to remove most of the restrictions and enable users to perform multiple actions simultaneously. 

  • Sometimes inserting or pasting answers in the editor repeats many times. We are actively working on this to identify the steps or scenarios which are causing this issue & fix it ASAP.

  • System will only allow the below special character in project name for RFx react pages to configure the file and import the library file.
    Allowed: _~`!@#$%^&(){}[];:'"<,>.?/|+=-

    It will not allow the special encoded character(s). If there is any special encoded character, it will be replaced with dash(-). For example, the special encoded character '—' is replaced with dash(-).

  • Key fields on Library Search does not support Text Area, Rich Text Area and Long Text Area.

  • Response Page Layout need at least one editable field to be added.

  • When you add web links starting with ‘www’ inside Primary Answer/Alternative Answer editor for Response and under the editor for entering answer on View Questions page, clicking on the link will redirect you to the same page. The workaround is to use links starting with http:// and https://.

  • In View Questions page, when you add a blank line using Shift + Enter in a bullet list under the answer editor and click on Save button, it creates an extra line. The workaround is to manually remove the extra line and then Save again.

  • When comparing the Active and Superseded version, the horizontal line present in Active version was not shown correctly in the changes tab. The comparison incorrectly displayed the horizontal line in both the Superseded and Active version instead of showing only on the Active version.

  • After removing the formatting of the primary answer on the Draft version using Tx icon from answer editor, the comparison of Active and draft version shows the same text in both the versions even after the user removed the formatting. Currently, any text styling related changes like Bold, Italics, Underline, etc. will not be considered for comparison.

  • In Response Library page, you can only select and bulk publishes 3000 - 3500 responses in a single publish batch with larger text (i.e. approximately 500 words with Rich Text/response). If the text length is smaller, you can accordingly publish more responses.

  • In View Questions page, when you copy and paste content with a combination of image, rich text, and bullets into the answer editor, the system does not paste the content properly. You can copy and paste the rich text and image content first, and then the bullets content to avoid this.

  • To use merge fields in a Word template, you need to insert “Plain Text Content Control”. Currently, it is not available on Mac OS (MS Word) so you cannot add merge fields to a new template. The workaround is to create a template (MS Word) in Windows and then use it on Mac. Also on Mac OS (MS Word), you can copy and paste the content control and make changes as needed.

  • The generated Excel file containing web links under any cell and hyperlinks residing under text will not be clickable directly from it.

  • When you copy (using Ctrl+C) both the text and image from the Library Search page and paste them into any document, only the text gets pasted, not the image. This is due to the image access restrictions from Salesforce. Workarounds for copying the image are as follows:

    • Use the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the answer and paste it into the document.
      (or)

    • First, copy and paste the text, then Right Click > Copy image, and paste it into the document.

  • The system does not support Excel files with the top row frozen while generating the document. The workaround is to unfreeze the top row from the document.

  • We currently support displaying maximum 250 search records on View Questions/Library Sync Library Search page. If we are displaying more than this, we might face browser page unresponsiveness or slowness issues.

  • During Bulk Delete/Archive operation, we might receive Apex heap size error, Apex CPU time limit exceeded, etc. types of error based on the size/content of responses. The workaround is to reduce batch size in “Library Delete Batch Size” in Custom Metadata Types > Loopio for Salesforce Configurations and/or select less responses for bulk operation.

  • The Chrome Extension does not support Auto Search on select feature on docs.google.com.

  • If an excel file has data in the form of a formula, the application is not rendering such data when we configure a project. The workaround is to convert the formula to text before importing it.

  • In generated Excel file, the HTML tags like <table>, <th> and <tr> added using the answer editor are omitted.

  • Any table(s) that present in the answer will be shown distorted with a series of dashes (-----) in the generated Excel cell.

  • When a user inserts an answer from the Library section into an unanswered project question and adds any empty html block (as mentioned under Custom Metadata Type (AvnioRFxConfiguration.SkipHtmlTagsForPQ)) and saves it, the system displays the Answer Method as “Suggested from Library” and not “Suggested from Library and Edited”.

  • When you copy the response containing text and image using the Copy button from the LFS Chrome Extension and paste them into any document or answer editor, only the text gets pasted, not the image. Workarounds for copying the image are as follows:

    • Use the Copy with Formatting button to copy the answer with image and paste it into the document.
      (or)

    • First, use the Copy button to copy and paste the text, then Right Click > Copy image, and paste it into the document.

  • When you run the Auto Sync flow on bulk records, the system fails to create Reviews from Project request if the count exceeds 800 records and displays an error message.
